Today I am celebrating my 30 day writing streak 🎉.
I am so happy that I am on my 31st day writing streak today. 30 days ago I took a small plunge to revisit writing, which I realized was stagnant for over 10 months. I have mentioned about burnout in few posts now, and one visible symptom I have felt was not being able to do anything else beyond showing up to work.
I am a highly conscious person who is always aware of what, how and why I feel certain things in certain ways. I reflect a lot on myself so that I can bring the best in myself. If you have interacted with me, you will realize I am a wholesome person. I am very content in my life. As such when I noticed lack of enthusiasm in general, I decided to slow down, pause and reflect on how to move on. One such decision has been to start a new job.
What started 30 days ago as an update to my blog writing, little did I know or had I planned to make this a daily writing habit. This is a great example of the power of taking small steps and simple habits. The key thing is to show up everyday, build consistency, enjoy and then progress towards betterment.
I do have an ideas backlog where I pick topics from, but otherwise I write everyday based on what I encounter. I take huge inspiration from Seth’s blog who writes everyday and how mentioned in few older posts about how I wish to write everyday. I am looking forward to continue my daily writing habit, I enjoy writing.
